Ashwagandha, also known as sleep berry or Indian ginseng, is a plant that has been used in Ayurvedic tradition for centuries. Its root is particularly well known - and that is exactly what we use in our Ashwagandha Complex.

Instead of simple plant powder, we use a high-quality, standardized root extract from KSM-66®.

KSM-66® is a high-quality branded ingredient made exclusively from the ashwagandha root, not the leaves.

What makes it special: The extract is standardized to 5% withanolides. With your daily serving, you get 600 mg of KSM-66® and therefore a consistent 30 mg of withanolides. So you know exactly what’s in it - every day.

Withanolides are characteristic plant compounds found in ashwagandha root. Their content is an important criterion for standardizing an ashwagandha extract.

Our KSM-66® contains 5% withanolides. With 600 mg of extract per daily serving, that amounts to 30 mg of withanolides.

This corresponds to 16% of the daily reference intake (NRV) for magnesium, 20% for zinc, and 16% for vitamin B6.

The only important thing is not to exceed the recommended daily serving of two capsules.

Ashwagandha is often associated with stress, relaxation, and sleep and has a long tradition in Ayurvedic nutrition.

However, there are currently no definitively authorized health claims for ashwagandha itself in the EU. We therefore consciously refrain from making corresponding claims about its effects.
